Configuration Control

Because Network Allies develops and manufactures "purpose-built" systems running OEM and ISV customer-specific applications, we implement project-specific configuration control plans. Configuration control helps prevent in-the-field compatibility surprises and enables a well-planned re-qualification process if needed.

As a starting point for configuration control, we work with you to complete a design baseline, including both engineering and manufacturing bills of material. We also partner with you to determine how to handle engineering change proposals or requests. In this manner, we mutually determine when a change is to be made and how to handle existing inventory. This collaboration improves control over changes and minimizes the overall effect of changing solutions, part numbers, and revision levels.
